My name is Andrew Foulsham and I am a Disabled American Veteran and the President of Second Salute Inc. I enlisted into the U.S. Navy on September 21, 2001, and proudly served until August 2005. I was an Aviation Mechanic assigned to an F14 Tomcat squadron, VF-32 Swordsmen. VF-32 was assigned to Air-Wing 3 and the 7th Fleet. I received the “Navy and Marne Corps Achievement Metal for my leadership and mechanical skills in our deployment from December 2002 – May 2003. During our deployment, the maintenance division had a mission completion rate of 98%, the highest of any squadron in the Navy during operation Iraqi Freedom. While in the service I was 90% blinded in my right eye and suffered a spinal injury.
Second Salute Origin
I started receiving medical attention at my local VA hospital in 2006 and I saw the need for additional assistance for disable Veterans. In 2015, I saw the need for an alternative to disposal of office furniture. Several commercial relocation customers were interested in donating furniture to a non-profit instead of disposing it into a landfill. I started Second Salute in August 2015 to service the needs of commercial relocation customer and to transform their furniture to a donation to provide financial support for Disabled American Veterans.
Mission:
Second Salute Inc. is focused on providing support to Disabled American Veterans while providing corporations with Green options for office furniture decommissioning.
Why Second Salute
While in the service I was 90% blinded in my right eye and suffered a spinal injury. I started receiving medical attention at my local VA hospital. I started Second Salute in August 2015 to service the needs of commercial relocation customer and to transform their furniture to a donation to provide financial support for Disabled American Veterans. Partnering with Second Salute on a Liquidation project will provide the client with a “Green” and social responsible alternative to disposal.
Process of donation
Second Salute Inc. facilitates the furniture donation from donor to the recipient with ease and convenience.

- Arrange moving services on behalf of the donor
- Donate the furniture on behalf of the donor to be reused, repurposed, or recycled.
